Video of The Divinity School
Caption: A medieval building in the Perpendicular style. Built 1427-83. It’s the oldest purpose built building for university use. Used as a filming location in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and in subsequent films as Hogwarts infirmary. To see this location I booked a tour at the Bodleian Libraries.
Video of Christ Church College
Caption: The Christ Church Great Hall was the inspiration for the dining room at Hogwarts but not actually filmed here. This was part of a self guided tour at Christ Church

Caption: The Bodley Staircase where Harry, Ron and Hermione first meet Professor McGonagall. A stunning location. Part of my tour of Christ Church

Harry he was born to be a seeker in the Philosopher’s Stone
Video of Bodleian Library
Caption: Although not used in the Harry Potter films this room preceded our visit to the Duke Humfrey’s Library. Unfortunately no photography was allowed in there but let me tell you it jaw-droppingly beautiful. Part of my Bodleian Libraries tour. Make sure you book well in advance.
Video of Christ Church Cathedral
Caption: A beautiful cathedral within the college. Not a location but worth a visit as it’s part of the tour.
