Caption: The following images were shot on during a spectacular sunrise here at home in December. I had a pretty good feeling the night before that we'd be in for a good mix of clouds and color at dawn the next day. What unfolded before our eyes was more than we had hoped for which is always something that never ceases to amaze me. There's not a moment that goes by when I'm immersed in these special moments that I don't stop and think how I wish every human being could experience a sunrise as we do down on the water line while gazing out over the horizon filled with that magic light and color. Hopefully these photographs do mother natures light show some sort of justice.

Caption: The Balboa Peninsula Is a neighborhood of the city of Newport Beach, Ca. It's named after the Spanish explorer, Vasco Nunez de Balboa. This is where these photos were taken and where I'm currently residing right at the foot of the Balboa Pier. Living here has been a dream of mine since childhood. I never take it for granted and try to take advantage of every moment that I'm here.
