My client wanted a dining table and bench for their newly converted apartment in a historic building in North London.
Having seen other examples of my furniture that fuses English Oak and steel, they decided to commission me to make both pieces along the same style.

CGI drawings are them made of the proposed pieces. Once signed off, the hard work begins...

Caption: Brown English Oak Brown oak gets it's wonderful dark colour thanks to a beetle that infects the tree with a fungus. Once the tree has been felled, the fungus dies and turns the wood brown.
The wood is still perfectly structurally sound and the dark oak creates a strong contrast against the lighter sap wood on the edge.
