Caption: One of the reasons why we wanted to visit Koblenz during the holiday period is that you can visit the Christmas Garden here. This colorful experience can be found spread over several locations in Europe, but the one in Koblenz is the most popular in Germany. To get there you use a cable car. You will find the boarding point along the river Rhine and it will take you to the unique fortress Ehrenbreitstein. Here you follow a mapped out route through the fort where you observe the most impressive and controversial light shows. It’s a great winter activity in Koblenz!
