Caption: Early spring my sister and I flew from Italy to Oslo. We were met by a dear friend who picked us up in the early hours of the morning due to a delayed flight. The next day we got onto the train for our 7 hour journey to Bergen, on the west coast of Norway. Supplied with a bag of food for our trip, out of a Laurence of Arabia era, by our friend Astrid. The scenery was amazing and on the next few pages I'll show you all the interesting structures of this country.

Caption: We arrived in the beautiful city of Bergen where we were met by friends who kindly hosted us for a couple of days. We set out to the streets the next day to explore this port city. The Fløibanen was a highlight, giving us a view from the top of the mountain.

Caption: A world heritage site, these old wooden structures have survived fires and floods over the decades. Today they provide very interesting alleys and shops. We searched for coffee and the must-have skillingsboller!
