Caption: Our first city in India is New Delhi. It will serve partly as our home-base, since we are traveling in and out arriving back in Delhi 3 times. The first part of the visit is with mostly textile factories. This really sets the tone for many of our designs for the rest of the world tour. We have patterns we brought with us to try and translate into these mediums with the techniques the factories here have developed.

Caption: Embroidery machine A room full of these machines make it fast and easy to make the most intricate and complicated designs possible since they are programmed by a computer.

Caption: Cutting Machine This machine can cut a little over an inch of fabric at one time. The ability to make precise and small cuts make it unique. Currently this machine was cutting the felt diamonds for the Global Views Diamond pillow.
