Caption: I barely made the sunset and got up bright and early for the sunrise. The morning was a bit cloudy but it was moody and photogenic. There is a hotel right there but it was full and I stayed in Kayenta. The next shot is the beginning of the dawn.

Caption: This entire stretch of 163 is beautiful. The sandstone and the rocks are such a dramatic color especially when the light is right and the sky is blue. The cover is from the movie Forest Gump, it was part of his run. Such a spectacular scene.
