Caption: In my trip to Manado, I met Rinto Taroreh, a leader Waraney Wuaya Lovers Community Culture in Minahasa, North Sulawesi. Rinto is an idealist who is deeply in love Minahasa. In order to maintain the tradition of the ancestors, he and his group are still routinely held Kawasaran ritual in the old village Kali Waruga Wanua Pineleng.

Caption: KAWASARAN RITUAL Kawasaran comes from Kawak and Asaran, kawak means protector and Asaran means doing like ancestors. So Kawasaran means performing rituals such as ancestor and became patron of the country. During the battle with the invaders Minahasa, Kawasaran become a ritual before going into battle. Now as Tonaas or leader, Rinto pick the duty to maintain the values of the spirit in Kawasaran, namely Waraney.
Before waruga ancestor, known Wanua Ure Kawasaran Lota they perform rituals. There are three stages in the ritual, namely Cumakalele, Kumoyak and Lalayaan.
