Caption: The day after I went to Florence, I flew to Menorca- yet another Balearic Island. This time I was staying for one month, and I was looking forward to the coming weeks of laying by the sea in the Spanish sunshine once again.

Caption: Every year on the first weekend of August, Llucmaçanes (the town I was staying in) hosts a fiesta called Sant Gaietà. A weekend of nonstop music (yes nonstop, even in the middle of the night), food, parades of “giants”, and lots of excitement. I just so happened to be there during this celebration, happening literally feet down the road from my house.
