Caption: Food and travel go hand in hand right? So when the team from Western Australia asked me to fly over to Margaret River for the Gourmet Escape Weekend I was all over it. Then I found out that the amazing @jewelszee would be joining me and the adventure just got a whole lot more exciting 😁😁😁

Caption: Our adventure began on Rottnest Island where we hired bikes and went exploring, mostly looking for the perfect Quokka selfie 😂😂 Rottnest is full of exciting things to do including: hiking, snorkeling, cycling, fishing, surfing and just relaxing. *Quokka’s are cute little marsupial’s that have made the island even more famous than it was.

Caption: Trying to get a selfie with one of these little cute animals is waaaaaaay harder than we first thought, we even tried to get the quokka to take a shot of us 😂😂😂 Jewels and I spend a lot of time rolling around in the dirty and leaves before we managed to get 1 photo.

Caption: How beautiful is this place? It is known as The Aquarium and is well worth a little dip on the Cape to Cape walk.

Caption: After all the hard work (🙊 eating, drinking wine and making photos) Jewels and I headed to the beautiful BondiJ spa at Injidup Spa Retreat for a relaxing massage 🤭

Caption: Our second Gourmet Escape Experience was held at Leeuwin Estate Vineyard. 🍷🍷🍷 Set amongst the forest was an amazing old barn that had been transformed into a magical Feast in the Forest. 🍷🍷🍷 Tonight’s dinner was prepared by Duncan Welgemoed who is one of Australia’s most sort after chefs. 🍷🍷🍷

Caption: All the food... And then there was all the delicious food. Margaret River is a serious foodie haven, there are so so many delicious restaurants, cafes & vineyards. Luckily we always travel with our camera equipment on our backs, it’s good for a bit of cardio after all the food 😂😂😂
