Caption: As my road trip from San Francisco wrapped up I knew I was heading to Mammoth for a lightening fast trip, just an excuse to put in some turns on the mountain.
However all good plans can go astray and I twinged an old injury on my third run down the hill.
With skiing out of the equation my esteemed host Josh took me out shooting! π·

Caption: After my unfortunate injury we decided not to waste a minute and I hobbled behind Josh to heaven and beyond.
Mammoth is truly so beautiful that it appears otherworldly! I had the best hosts I could ask for in Visit Mammoth's Josh Wray, his partner Kalyn and Mammoth Mountain's Sarah Sherman.

Caption: What I love most about Mammoth is that it's a total ski town in Winter but there are sooo many other things to do!
I had envisioned two short days on the slopes and instead had a whirlwind tour of an amazing corner of the globe.
