Caption: Montana in winter is something really special. Montana in winter at Lone Mountain Ranch is truly something one of a kind. Originally homesteaded as a cattle ranch in 1915, this summer and winter guest ranch in beautiful Big Sky offers an unforgettable authentic Montana experience. There's such a warm and welcoming vibe to everyone that works there, it felt like I was visiting old friends. From the top notch food and hospitality, to the guided Nordic skiing, fly fishing and tour through Yellowstone National Park, my time spent at LMR was nothing short of magical.
