Caption: Arnold Circus was one of the earliest council social housing schemes. Nowadays it is surrounded by trendy shops and cafes and is much quieter than the busy Brick Lane nearby.

Caption: A former fruit and veg market now house retailers, restaurants, market stalls and street food traders. On Thursday there is an antiques and vintage market where I used to have a stall so it is close to my heart.

Caption: Brick Lane is known for its mix of Bagaladeshi restaurants and vintage clothing stores. The best, in my opinion is run by the two Ians who hand pick all the garments they sell.
