Caption: London's streets are teeming with life at night.
When shooting on the street, I often look for as simple a setup as possible, trying to capture the scene through the lens of one, or just a few people.
I like the odd epic cityscape though.

Caption: The lens is wide open, I want to freeze the scene with as quick an exposure as possible at as low an ISO as possible. Almost always I use a 35mm prime. I have to compose and expose quickly before the chance is gone. I find the more I shoot street, the more I feel I know where to stand for a scene to play out in front of me. A sixth sense begins to develop.
A lot of the time, I just get a little lucky though.
