Caption: Totally an amazing but yet shocking trip for me. I've spent 9 days in Lombok, Indonesia with my fellow friends.
He arrived in Lombok International Airport on August 19, night. This trip was planned to meet my friends who also an instagramers based in Lombok, Mr. @deradjad and @ginangprasinada .
Nothing much on our first night. We checked in our hotel after 3 hours journey from Kuala Lumpur to Lombok.
Caption: The next day, we woke up as early as 5AM. We decided to spend our first day with waterfall. Lombok has quite a number of waterfall. So we choose Sendeng Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfall. Located two hours from central Lombok heading North.
After 10 minutes trekking from entrance door, we arrived at Sendeng Gile Waterfall.

Caption: We continue trekking heading to Tiu Kelep Waterfall which took about 30 minutes from Sendeng Gile.
Honestly, Tiu Kelep is one of the beautiful waterfall i've ever seen in my life.

If you has a plan to visit Lombok, make sure this waterfall was on your top list.
Caption: After we have done our morning session, we proceed with another waterfall. It's Mangku Kodek and Mangku Sakti waterfalls. These two waterfall connected to each other.

Caption: To go there, you need to rent a bike and a guider. This waterfall cannot be access with cars unless you own a 4x4 jeep.
Caption: We ended that day trip with watching sunset from Bukit Selong, Sembalun. For the whole hours when we're there, these local kids play around with us, having a small chit chat about their lives. We had a great time with these kids.

Caption: The next morning, we went to Selong Belanak beach for a walk.
I shoot some portraits from there. I had my first time testing out the popular Lombok Coffee and it was really good!

Caption: I'm shock because Lombok was not really humid comparing when i was there last year. I had myself burn because that time was really hot and i can't even open my eyes.
We headed to Semeti and Mawi beach located not far from Selong Belanak.

Caption: We proceed our long trip on the next day headed to another waterfall, Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu.
After that, we spent our sunset time at Tiga Beach and Villa Antu (Ghost's Villa).
The villa was named that way because it was left empty without the construction finished. So it became one of the best sunset spot if you drop by Sengigi area.

Caption: We spent our morning on 5th day in Merese Hill. This is one of my favorite place. I love how the cliff was structured by the ocean creating one of the iconic scenery in Lombok.

Caption: And here come my latest saddest moment from this trip. As my whole life i guess. We decided to shooting for milkyway up there in Batu Idung Hill. So we climbed up during sunset and waited till night.
When the night comes, we start shooting and this happened. My camera dropped from 200ft from top of the hill. Me and other friends go down the hill looking for it but failed because it was really dark.
We decided to come back the next morning looking for it.
Caption: And we went to the hill next morning. We have to made a new trail to find exactly place my camera fall off. We cut off bushes and climbed up the rock. After 35 minutes, we found it! But in a really bad condition. My 14mm lens detached from the body. All the cameras body parts break and damaged due to hard fall. Luckily the memory card still there.

Caption: Thank you Lombok. It's a toughest one so far among my trips. I didn't expect thing to be this hard. But i have to keep my head up, stay positive and trust on my progress..
I still feel this trip could be one of the amazing trip so far and Lombok is totally amazing!
