Caption: There is a brief moment in the mountains when the larch trees turn a vibrant golden yellow and decorate the peaks for fall. This moment has always eluded me. I would find myself hiking in the alpine just as they were beginning to change colour or after they had dropped their golden needles. Today I finally got to witness the Larch trees in all their golden goodness.
