Caption: Ladakh is about monastery I wrote this photo-story as the end of my 2019 Ladakh Journey.
Monastery. Yeaaa, according to Ladakh as “Little Tibet” we found so many monasteries.
We visited Lumayuru, Thikse and other Monasteries. And along the way to these monasteries, we enjoy great view of Ladakh.
Here is the story.

for 10 years, and I admire Buddhism.
It was my pleasure to visit
so many monasteries in Ladakh.
To feel more about Buddhism.

It was built in 1430.

has great view from hilltop,
the Thiksey Monastery is my favorite.
The mix contrast colors between green
versus light brown or grey is very beautiful.

National Highway in the Trans-Himalayan region.
To the east of the Magnetic Hill flows
the Indus River, making the surroundings
a photographer’s delight. Magnetic Hill lies at a distance of around 30 km from Leh.

Picture
Caption: Leh “the capital” of Ladakh We came & left Ladakh from Leh, using flight to New Delhi.
It’s a small old town full with hotels, restaurants, markets especially Tibetan Refugees Market.
Ladakh open widely to Tibetan refugees, giving them the opportunities to work (except at government office). Honestly I felt a Tibet soul rather than India soul here in Ladakh, and I feel peace.

about 80,000 Tibetans fled the country along with their leader the Dalai Lama.
At the request of then Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, various states leased lands to Tibetans, Jammu and Kashmir among them.
There are 7,300 Tibetan refugees in Ladakh. Tibetan refugees in ladakh

It’s a touristic city that full
with ethnic touch. And again I felt
the diversity in Ladakh.
Buddhist and Moslem are living in
a harmony.
