Picture of Komodo National Park
Caption: Want to make a trip from Bali to other Indonesian islands? Move over Gili's and Nusa's and go to the Komodo Islands! The Komodo National Park hosts tropical white and pink beaches, a rich underwater world and bizarre landscapes. We made a unique three-day boat trip here along breathtaking places and can say that this was one of our most beautiful trips ever. Cruise along the breathtaking Komodo Islands
Video of Padar Island
Caption: Famous for its unique landscapes and mesmerising views, Padar Island is one of the most iconic spots of the Komodo Islands and maybe even of Indonesia. The island has breathtaking scenes. The highlight of Padar Island is the captivating view from the summit. A 20-minute hike leads you to the vantage point, where the view of rugged golden landscapes, azure waters, and tri-colour beaches await you.
Video of Pulau Kelor
Caption: Our highlight of the Komodo islands was without a doubt Padar Island, but Kelor Island comes in a close second. This uninhabited island is known for the hike that you can make here. The hike is short (about 15 minutes), but it is tough! The view, on the other hand, is stunning and absolutely worth it.
Video of Kanawa Island
Caption: Kanawa Island is also part of the Komodo National Park in Indonesia and is a true paradise. This scenic island is known for its crystal clear waters and beautiful white sand. It is a popular place for snorkeling. Kanawa Island should not be missed when you do a boat tour to the Komodos!
Video of Pink Beach
Caption: Who doesn’t love a pink beach? This island is named after the 'pink' sand you see here. The beach gets this color from the pink coral that rubs against the shoreline. The coral forms a nice contrast with the white sand and clear blue water.
Video of Pulau Makasar
Caption: Taka Makassar is a tiny treasure in the Komodo National Park. It’s known as the 'Maldives of Indonesia' as this sandbar offers a stunning white sandy beach and is surrounded by shallow turquoise waters. The island is smaller than a football field and looks too good to be true!
Video of Pulau Kalong
Caption: Kalong Island is known for the beautiful sunset. 'Kalong' refers to the large flying fox you spot here (a bat species). During sunset you can see thousands of them flying away from the island.
