Caption: I recently visited the small Virginia mountain resort where Dirty Dancing, one of my favorite movies of all time, was filmed.
This watermelon salad recipe is a nod to one of my favorite quotes from the film. What can I say? I'm a child of the 80s.

Caption: Arugula (about 5 – 6 cups)
1.5 – 2 cups fresh, seedless watermelon, cut into bite-sized chunks
4 oz. crumbled blue cheese
3/4 – 1 cup toasted pecans
Handful of blueberries
1/2 cup sliced radishes
Vinaigrette of choice, for dressing (I like champagne vinaigrette or red wine vinaigrette)

Caption: In a large bowl, combine the watermelon, arugula, blue cheese, toasted pecans, blueberries, and radishes. Toss to combine. Drizzle with your desired amount of vinaigrette and set aside until use. Pile on top of the fresh focaccia to serve.
