Caption: Kawah Putih is one of my favorite spot in my city.
The crater is situated 2430 meters above sea level. As a highly acidic lake with a pH of 0.5-1.3 that fills the dormant volcanic crater, you will see its color change from turquoise to white green depending on the concentration of sulphur, temperature, oxidation and sunlight reflection.
