Caption: About a week ago, I got the chance to explore Kauai -- Hawaii's rugged, untouched Garden Isle. Most of Kauai is unreachable by car and therefore uninhabited, thanks to the dramatic cliffs and mountain vistas of the Na Pali coast.

Caption: The Queen's Bath was probably my favorite part of Kauai. A sinkhole formed in a shelf of volcanic rock, the popular swimming hole was once used as a bathing pool for Hawaiian royalty.

Caption: The end of the highway in Kauai leaves you at the trailhead for the Na Pali Coast. You can choose to hike two miles to a serene beach, four miles to a hidden, 300-foot waterfall, or 11 miles to the picturesque Kalaulau Beach.
No matter which path you choose, you'll be in for some of the most breathtaking views of your life.
