Israel is a country full of contradictions. Apart from the political and historical controversies I want to show you how the 2 main cities of Israel reflect on the various lifestyles and beliefs of the people of Israel.

Caption: Strolling through the old city of Jerusalem during the night before Shabat and then the day of Shabat was intense and left a lasting impression on me. I'll never forget these 2 days and there's no words to describe the feeling you get in the oldest constantly inhabited city of the world. You have to experience this for yourself to understand why Jerusalem is so important for so many people. It truly is a unique place!
