I found these words written on a sign after entering the Isle of Skye and they have stuck with me ever since. The author of the words? John Muir, a Scottish-American naturalist who was pivotal in preserving the environment around the dawn of the twentieth century.

Caption: As I said, that John Muir quote has stuck with me. Muir dedicated his life to protecting nature and if you simply read the first paragraph of his Wikipedia page, you can learn a great deal about how one can affect change.
Muir was instrumental in helping preserve Yosemite Valley and Sequoia National Park through his letters, essays and books.
Caption: Recent events in the United States had me feeling down, but this morning I reread that quote by Muir and reread his bio, and felt inspired.
Let's keep this earth wild.
