Caption: What’s the story? My childhood friend works in ticket sales at IMS and graciously gave us the “VIP” tour of the completely empty speedway (with permissions, of course). It was incredible to see it empty and experience it like no one else. I have never attended the Indy 500 and had no idea how HUGE it is!
Along the way, we ran into a security guard who was friendly and nice enough to give us a tour of the pagoda, where the reporters and celebrities sit, and a ride on the track!
