Caption: We spent one month traveling
in India and couldn't have loved it more. It is a place of intensity... the sounds, smells, sights and at times the sadness. It is also a place of tradition, of unbelievable craft, beauty, faith,
& wonder. These are some of my favourite memories as we moved throughout Delhi, Agra, and the northern province of Rajasthan.

Caption: A rickshaw ride through Old Delhi
was one of our most memorable experiences in the mega city. There was more going on in a square metre than any where else on earth - I'm sure of it. It was packed with people and every imaginable activity... people cooking, selling everything under the sun- from spices to fan parts to sacks filled with marigolds. A man on the sidewalk all lathered up and having a wash. Dogs, cows, people loading and unloading goods, monkeys jumping from buildings to trees, honking cars, bikes, tuk-tuks, rickshaws. You name it, we saw it. It was so much fun.

The Taj Mahal, without a doubt,
it is the most beautiful building
I have ever seen. It looked more
like a painting or a dream than something real. Completely
majestic and perfect.

Caption: Near the village of Dagri, we were invited to experience typical rural life at a farm. Our hosts welcomed us into their home, made tasty traditional meals in which we shared with their family and friends. An evening walk into the village was a lot of fun, everyone came to meet us or at least take a peek at the strangers in their village. Many cups of chai masala were offered and shared as we made our way around the streets. By the time we left, we had a little parade of people joining us on our walk to the edge of town. In the morning, a couple locals came to the farm house to teach us the game of cricket. We are so grateful that we were able to spend time at the farm. I think it will be something all
of us will never forget.
