Caption: First stop on my nine-month solo travel: Ibiza, for three weeks. I had never been to the Balearic Islands before, or Spain, so this was all new and exciting for me. Sun, sand, sea . . . what more could I ask for?
I know what you’re thinking- Ibiza, party city! BUT there is more to this island than its partiers and famous clubs- there is also a beautiful and elegant side of Ibiza, the side that maybe tends to get unfortunately overshadowed.

Caption: I went sea kayaking for the first time (in fact, this was my first time kayaking in general . . .) and it turned out to be beautiful. I went with a professional, out on the huge rolling waves (yikes) and paddled along the cliff shore. Jellyfish floated everywhere, making me do everything in my power to keep my balance, not tip the skinny kayak, and not fall out, haha! It was so cool.
