Caption: To the east of Dublin city centre is the small peninsula village of Howth. It was a short half hour drive from my hotel in downtown Dublin. My original intention was to spend sunrise at the Bailey Lighthouse before heading elsewhere for the morning. I popped into the town of Howth and absolutely fell in love with it. I had a coffee and spent my morning walking around the harbor.
