Caption: Hassawi rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a landrace adapted to the climate of Saudi Arabia, characterized by its strong resistance to soil salinity and drought. It only grows in the city of Ahsaa, Saudi Arabia and production can only meet local demand and that's why it's not exported.
