Caption: Goverment thought the disaster should be a lesson. Because of that, on 2002 Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution opened The Earthquake Memorial Museum or well known as Hanshin Awaji Earthquake Memorial Museum.
The Museum has a lot of facilities like a large screen with 3D effect of the earthquake's destructiveness, a documentary film about the recovery process, lots of information about earthquake, historic items, and various interactive games about disaster prevention.

After the earthquake happen, they become more careful. They build home or buildings use the anti-earthquake technology. Some people who still use traditional heater will always turn off when they sleep for security reason. Eventhough it's on winter.
