Caption: HANSASTADT HAMBURG Hamburg is one of 25 german hanseatic cities and the 2nd largest city in Germany (after Berlin). It’s also it’s own federale state. The city is about 1520 years old and a nice mix of old and new arcitecture. Hamburg is an important port city in northern Germany and is connected to the North Sea by the Elbe River.
Hamburg is a popular tourist destination with good reason and is famous for being a centre for industry, music and media.
Following are my top 10 tips on what to do and see in this beautiful city

We have tried two that were great: Nord Coast Coffee Roastery (located in proximity to Speicherstadt) and Malina’s coffee & Stories (Barmbek-nord district - north of the city centre) This food is from Malina’s.

Caption: 10. If you like beer, this city is great for beer tastings. I visited both Braugasthaus Altes Mädchen (in the Schanze district) and Störtebeker Elbphilarmonie (inside the Elphie building) - restaurants that offer beer tastings. If you’re not a beer lover they're great restaurants as well:)
