Caption: So I finally made it to Hallstatt for the first time!
Now I understand why this little gem has been copied all the way in China - it's truly a perfect little lakeside village. Although tourism is insane here, it's worth a visit - especially in the late afternoon hours when the tour busses have left and the locals start riding their bicycles and play ball games on the small pathways alongside the water.
