Caption: I went to Gov Ball 2 yrs ago. It was ankle-deep mud, but the lineup was great. Last year, I didn't go. Line up no good. This year, I went, but wanted to do it differently w some solo cruising & not cramming 109 bands into my day. Highly recommend this, especially if you live here & can just hop on the uptown 4 (or uber), wander around a group of 55,000 other humans, listen to music that you want to hear, run into people you know & meet new faces. Real good times. That being said, I only used my cam on day 3, as I wanted to take it all in, but here's some of what I got.

Caption: CHRONIXX Before I started doing work for the House of Marley, reggae was pretty foreign to me. Now, over a year & 1 summer Stephen Marley tour later, I can't help but bob my head when I hear it. This particular dude is tight & more people need to give him a listen. He's not such a preacher as Bob Marley was, just overall good feel, new, young sound out of Jamaica w positive vibes & bounce to the beat.
