Some of them we prepare month before Christmas but this recipe is fast to make.

1/2 cup butter
-1 cup brown sugar
- 2tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp plum/ blackcurrant jam
- 2tbsp dark cacao
- 3tsp gingerbread spice
- 1 cup milk
- 2tsp bicarbonate soda
- 2 tbsp Nescafé coffee
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
Ganache
- 1cup double cream
- 9 ounces dark chocolate
Caption: Method In a pot on the low heat melt butter. Add brown sugar, jam, honey, gingerbread spice, cacao. Mix all. Cook for 1 min and turn off heat.
Add bicarbonate soda, coffee and eggs.
Add milk and slowly add flour.
Mix all through so there aren't any lumps.
Heat oven to 350F.
Grease and sprinkle with flour a loaf tin or 12 individual mini cake tins. Pour batter.
Bake for 35min or less.
