Caption: I was recently invited by @Steller and @Georgia_Travel to explore the beautiful country of Georgia for 10 days with a group of 15 talented creators .
Then we were split into Teams to discover different regions of the country during the #DigitalDay .
My Team was assigned to explore the southern of Georgia including the
Samtshke-Javakheti region.

The original name of this castle used to be “Lomisa Castle “ which means “Lion “in the Georgian language .
This castle is also known as Akhal-tsikhe which literally translates as “New Fortress”

It is considered to be one of the oldest fortresses in Georgia !
It is situated in the Khertvisi village .

Caption: Vardzia is a cave monastery site in the southern Georgia , the main period of the construction was during the second half of the 12th century .
The caves stretch along the cliff for 500 meters !
I believe that this was the most beautiful region in the southern of Georgia !
The monastery was an important cultural center , a place of a significant literary and artistic work !
