Caption: Just two walks for week forty nine - there were more, but I wanted to share these two for their beautiful skies. The first was on the Saturday at John Muir Country Park. We’d had rain, and had waited for a break in the weather to head for a walk, by which stage the light was fading fast. But when we reached the bay the sky just… glowed, with this intense sunlight breaking through the clouds.
On the following day, we had a walk at Yellowcraig. Different clouds, a very different sky, with hints of pink and smudgy lilac hues, and then this touch of orange that suddenly burst into a blaze before fading to purple. The colours don’t look real here, but they were.
