Caption: More than a decade after loading my last roll of colour film, I bought a used Canon AE-1 Program SLR camera.
As I really didn't know if the camera even worked, I was anxious to see the outcome of the the 36 exposures.

Caption: I shot these images on a Kodak Portra 400 film, on my recent trip to Northern California.
Just one out-of-focus exposure and one double exposure was a much better hit rate than I had expected.
