Caption: #ExploreWestTimor I took 3 days off to take this trip on 1 - 7 May 2016. West Timor is the western part of Timor Island and it's surrounding (Indonesia part), while East Timor is the eastern part and has become the region of Republic Democratic of Timor Leste.
My first stop at this trip is at Semau Island and Kupang.

Caption: To reach Semau Island, you have to go to Tenau Harbour, 30 minutes ride from El Tari International Airport with 110.000 IDR cost or 15 minutes ride from city center (60.000 IDR).

Caption: From Tenau Harbour, you can rent a small boat to Semau Island for 100.000 IDR (one way trip). Or, you can join boat with another people that heading to the island.

Caption: After 15 minutes boat ride, you'll arrived at Semau Island pier. There's no public transportation here, so you have to rent an "ojeg" or a car.
The cost for an "ojeg" rent is 200.000 IDR for a day, from the pier until Liman Beach and to the pier again.

Caption: Almost every part of the road at Semau Island is bumpy, prepare yourself well by not bring heavy bag on your shoulder. There's also a lot of hill to be climbed with the motorcycle.
