Caption: Escape to Vientiane In January 2020, i visit Laos for a day. I came from Bangkok to Vientiane by a train. From Bangkok to Nong Khai It takes about 10-12 hours. Then you can go to Thai-Lao border by tuk tuk. Cross the border by buss and you can go to Vientiane by tuk tuk again.
