Caption: The Blair Street Vaults In Edinburgh was a location that’s been on my list to visit for years, and getting to go on a tour was amazing! It’s incredibly atmospheric & creepy, I felt like the tour group was being constantly followed by an unseen presence.

Caption: The tour guide gave us a brief history of the Vaults & took us through the various rooms, it’s very dark, dank & some of the rooms can make you feel slightly claustrophobic. I was grateful that I was able to take photos on the tour as I always enjoy looking back on them. The Vaults has a dark & macabre history, the infamous body snatchers Burke & Hare used to frequent these Vaults & used their victims & medical experiments. You can almost imagine them searching the Vaults hiding around the next corner ready to pounce on their next victim.

Caption: If you are yet to visit the Vaults I highly recommend the tours, I’ll definitely be going back again & going to visit them. The ghostly experiences & darkness that envelopes you is enough to make the hardest of ghost hunters lose their nerve.
