Caption: I think E pluribus unum is the same as Bhineka Tunggal Ika, because of its mean. E pluribus unum means "out of many, one" while Bhinneka Tunggal Ika means " Berbeda - beda tetapi tetap satu jua", so basically that mottos try to ilustrate that they are consisted more than one varieties but still one unity. Also, that mottos are facing similar challenge, "pluralism" and with the motto, each nation try to remind the society that they're still one unity although they are different in many things.

Caption: I agree with regita. e pluribus unum and bhinneka tunggal ika are the same thing. They have meaning that exactly the same, although that there are so many diversities but still one unity, i mean diversity into one.

Caption: I think it's different from meaning side. Why? Because E Pluribus Unum means "From many become one", (sedangkan) bhinneka tunggal ika means 'although there are many different (ras, suku) but (tetap satu jua). Different in the contextual meaning.
Novita Nurcahyani Utami (B0316027)
Caption: I agree with novita. For me, it's different in contextual meaning, because E Pluribus Unum means from many become one although Bhinneka Tunggal Ika means we are one even though we're different. Actually the difference is not too much, but if we look again the meaning of 'from many become one' and 'we are one even though we're different' is different.
Kumari Pramudita (B0316021)
Caption: I think "E Pluribus Unum" isn't the same with "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika". They are different in conceptual meaning. The meaning of the motto is showing that in United States there are many differences but they formed as a single nation, while "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" means although we have many differences, we are still one.

Caption: I have same idea with azizah, especially, if we see from the form of the country. U.s is a federal country but indonesia is a unite country. In U.S, they have many countries in there, and every country will have their own constituation and government. In my view point, in U.S, people become one just because the form of their country, not because people accept the diverification

Caption: "E Pluribus Unum" and "Bhineka Tunggal Ika" are the same in technical term, but in contextual term they are different. Even it's different in contextual term, the most important is the essence of the whole idea of both mottos. But in my opinion, "E Pluribus Unum" and "Bhineka Tunggal Ika" have the same purpose. The mottos have the equal point to unite the heterogeneity in U.S and Indonesia. Of course, both countries have their own characteristic of the people, the differences of culture background, and etc. For me, i interprete that U.S and Indonesia have the same goal and purpose for their nations.

Caption: From the purpose and meaning, E pluribus Unum and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika are the same. But its different in contextual meaning. E pluribus Unum unites the nations of the USA while Bhinneka Tunggal Ika unites all of the diversity in Indonesia like cultures, religions, local languages, etc.

Caption: Conclusion
Caption: The conclusion is , every nations has their own motto and its contain the meaning and purpose. E Pluribus Unum have the same purpose with Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, but from the contextual meaning, both mottos are different. In Indonesia, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika becomes a strong foundation to uniting the plurality in society, while in USA, which consist of 50 states, E Pluribus Unum becomes the binding for all countries in the United States to hanging together as a part of the USA.
