Caption: Toblacher See (German) is a small alpine lake with a shingle, located in Pustertal valley at 1.176 m. S.l.m. In the municipality of Dobbiaco, about 106 km from Bolzano. The lake is located south of the homonymous country. The Rienza is her envoy and emissary.

Caption: The lake is located exactly on the border between two natural parks: the natural park of Tre Cime and the nature park Fanes - Sennes and Braies. The basin has an estimated volume of 286,000 cubic meters and a perimeter of about 4.5 kilometers. Lake Dobbiaco is one of the few examples of marshes (a wetland) existing in the Alpine region.
