Caption: Beautiful DECAY At Beelitz-Heilstätten
Caption: Beelitz-Heilstätten In a forest southwest of Berlin in Germany lies an abandoned hospital compound of about 60 buildings.
Originally built as a tuberculosis sanatorium in the end of the 19th century, this complex was converted into a military hospital by the Imperial German Army during World War I.
In 1945, Beelitz-Heilstätten was occupied by Red Army forces, and remained a Soviet military hospital until 1995 before falling into abandonment.
