Caption: Last Summer, we went up to London (specifically Covent Garden) everyday for 2 weeks to have the incredible opportunity of dancing with the world-famous, Mariinsky Ballet of St Petersburg. It was very tiring and demanding of our feet but totally worth it

Caption: The performance was of La Bayadere, and we had the chance to dance in the Manu dance (jug dance) or slaves, and I was cast in the Manu dance, due to being slightly smaller than the other lucky dancers

Caption: Unfortunately, I had to fight for the role in Manu. It is duet, so naturally there is two people, however someone else was sharing the other part with me. Sadly for me, she got the part and performed all nights, except one, when I was allowed to dance on the Saturday Matinee. However, just after the matinee performance, the ballet master who had taught us the dances, Larissa, came in with news that the deputy director of the company wanted me to dance on the final evening performance. I was so happy!
