Caption: Boxing in Cuba is an amazing and wonderful part of the Cuban Culture. One of the things I’m always amazed by and appreciate is that the women are taken just as seriously as the men. At the gym I goto the women practice with the men with equal intensity.
Caption: They start young! I visited this gym last week and the wood for the ring has rotted. They tie ropes between the chairs. It’s just not quite the same.
