Caption: The Convent of Christ was initially a Templar fortress built during the 12th century. It is located in the city of Tomar and is considered one of the most important historical and artistic buildings of Portugal. Indeed, its architecture combines Romanesque, Gothic, manueline, Renaissance, mannerist and Baroque styles.
