My journey began at Macreddin Village and Brooklodge. This was the perfect place to get over my jet lag.

Caption: Located attached to Brooklodge is the Strawberry Tree, Ireland’s first certified Organic Restaurant. The 5 course meal was one of the best I’ve ever had. Starting with a wild Sika tartare (top) and complete with a Sika venison steak (bottom). Both harvested from the nearby Wicklow Mountains.
