Caption: In September, on the following day after my trip to Lake Como, I traveled the couple hours from Milan to Cinque Terre. This place had been on the top of my bucket list for years, but I was running out of time before I’d be flying out of Italy so I made peace with the fact that I’d have to save Cinque Terre for another year . . . BUT I made a last minute decision and decided to go! And man alive am I glad that I did. This was THE perfect trip, my all-time favorite trip, and the highlight of my entire Italian summer. 😊

Caption: Cinque Terre was my final trip in Italy, and all I can say is it was the perfect ending to my summer and to my time in Italy. It was a bittersweet feeling on my way back to Milan after this day. I was so content, so happy- just thinking about it now makes me smile- but I was also a little sad about having to leave this beautiful country that had given me so many memories over the past three months. I was so excited for the next stop on my European adventure, though. Can you guess where I was headed to next?
