Taking a helicopter to Kaikoura from Christchurch not only provided spectacular views, and scary winds that at one stage had me thinking 'omg we're going down' lol... it also gave me my favourite photo of the trip! (See next page)

Mind blowing!

And one of the best days of my life! We were dropped in the middle of the freezing New Zealand ocean off the coast of Kaikoura, to entertain some very playful dusky dolphins! I was absolutely beside myself! The crew on the 'Dolphin Encounter Kaikoura' boat were so amazing too! We seriously could not have asked for a more magical morning!

Started with a magical sunrise down along the waters edge of beautiful Kaikoura.
We then did a really lovely and interesting tour with 'Maori Tours Kaikoura' where we learnt about the history and culture, and captured some spectacular views.

Imagine being tucked up in the most comfortable bed you've ever known, looking up at the infinite starry sky! It was incredible!

A morning spent at Birdling's Flat, one of the most beautiful, wild and untamed coastlines I've seen. I could have stayed all day....

Our last day, and a gentle morning discovering the beautiful village of Akaroa. I can see myself living in Akaroa, painting, knitting, baking, gardening and of course, taking pretty pictures.
