Caption: The Goonies... Has been my favorite movie since I was young and I always wanted to one day be a goonie and have amazing adventures. I've been able to have quite a few adventures in the past two years and just recently I was able to go to some of the Goonies hotspots thanks to a friend with a car. We went to Astoria briefly but Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock was our true destination and we got there on a foggy monsoon like day but nothing could bring down our energy, not even hypothermia!

Caption: Haystack Rock was a long and wet walk from where we eventually legally parked and our hipster fashion ended up being useless in Oregon's winter rain but we soaked it in and kept smiles on our faces

Caption: It was a monsoon and we almost got trapped in Cannon Beach due to flooding but at the same time it was a wonderful day of making new friends and enjoying a spontaneous day trip
