Caption: Candi Merak Candi merak yang terletak di desa karangnongko kabupaten klaten merupakan salah satu warisan candi hindu peninggalan dinasti wangsa syailendra yang menganut agama Hindu Syiwa. Konon nama candi tersebut dipakai nama merak karena sebelum candi tersebut ditemukan terdapat pohon joho yang menutupi candi dan sebagai tempat/ rumah dari burung merak.
Caption: Merak Temple Merak temple located in the village Karangnongko at Klaten district is one of the heritage of Hindu temple relics dynasty Sailendra dynasty who embraced Hindu Shiva. It is said that the name of the temple was used as the name Merak before the temple was found to contain Joho trees that covered the temple and as a place / home of the merak/ peacock.
